I passed for a high school student!

Probably everybody who reads my blog has already heard this story but I love to tell it, so I'm going to one more time. I was helping my cousin with her yard sale on Saturday. While I was there I helped a lady carry some books to her car. She was making small talk and asked me where we were moving to, instead of explaining to her that this was my cousins house I just answered. I told her we were moving up the hill she said " o good then you can stay in the same school district so you don't have to change schools". I said yeah that's good, then she asked me what school I went too. I love these moments, when I was younger people would always tell me that I should enjoy looking young but until I was a mom and finally started feeling old was I truly able to enjoy moments like these.

Where's my pocket?

Logan loves his daddy! Anything daddy does Logan copies. Caleb usually keeps his phone in his pocket. When he was done talking on the phone he put his phone down on the couch, he was also holding Ava so Logan was a little jealous. Logan grabbed his phone and was pretending to talk on it when Caleb asked for his phone Logan tried to put it in his pocket so daddy couldn't get it. Well Logan was wearing a swim suit that had no pockets so he stuck the phone down the front of his swim suit. Then he looked up and said where's my pocket? He stood there holding the phone in the front of his swim suit making sure it wouldn't fall out the bottom so daddy couldn't get it. It was so funny!

AVA CAN WALK! (with a little help)

My sister Mindi told me about a new walker that came out for little girls. It sounded cute when she told me about it so I went and found it, it is so much cuter then I thought. Maybe its just because its my girls first stroller or because she is just so little, but I can't get over how cute she looks pushing it around. She started out good it would scoot a little so she would follow it then she started to get a little distracted and it would scoot a little and she didn't follow but she also didn't let go. I love it, so cute!

Bear Lake

I loved camping in bear lake! It was our shortest trip but my favorite. I loved taking the kids down to the beach the water was so shallow that they could just run all over. The big kids had fun digging in the sand and Ava had fun playing in the mud. We even got some time to ride a wave runner, I had forgotten how much fun that is. Next summer it will definitely be our longest trip.

Our trip to liberty park!

We started out by going to the Tracy aviary. Logan and Caleb fed the birds this is the only picture that Logan is not crying in, he thought it was a little scary. I'm not sure what the next funny little birds were called but they were very entertaining they even got Avas attention. We also went to the bird show there but I think our kids were still just a little to small to think that was fun, to much sitting. So then we headed out to do some rides Logan picked the pink airplane and rode the farris wheel with daddy. Ava thought this was a good time to take a nap. That was our day nothing to exciting just a fun family outting.

Logans potting training story.

He finaly did it! Logan has decided to use the toilet instead of a diaper. Yesterday he went pee in the toilet standing up and he thought it was the coolest thing so he kept doing it all day. He would stop playing and come running for the bathroom, we had no accidents all day. Today he went again first thing when he woke up so I put big boy underwear on him. After a little while I cought him sitting behind the couch so I reminded him not to get his underwear dirty, he said "ok I will be right back" he ran for the bathroom. I went to go see if he was going and he had the door shut but I could here him pushing so I peeked in to see how it was going. He looked up at me and said "what happened"? He had gone poop standing up the same way he goes pee. I told him good job for keeping his pants clean and good try pooping in the potty. Then I explained to him that we poop sitting down and pee standing up. But all that matters is that he is trying to do it on his own.
